Since 2025, Via Roma has been waiting for the women as well, marking the first chapter of a story set to last for many years.
The race starts in Genova, but the key points remain the same: Capo Mele, Capo Cervo, Capo Berta, the Cipressa and the Poggio — that’s where the Classicissima is decided.
The first edition was won by Lorena Wiebes, ahead of the legendary Marianne Vos and Noemi Rüegg.
Now the women, too, can kick off the spring in true Classicissima style.
